Hi, I’m Heather – I’m so glad you’re here!

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, I’m excited to be putting down roots in Charleston, South Carolina. As a first-generation high school and college graduate, I earned my professional degree in Interior Design from the Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design at the University of Arkansas in 2019. Woo Pig!

After graduation, I made the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, home and in 2022, I took the leap and launched my own design studio, Bly Design – I haven’t looked back since! Bly Design is a residential and boutique hospitality design studio focused on creating thoughtful, approachable spaces that feel elevated while still feeling like home.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on everything from full-home renovations and new construction to kitchens, bathrooms, custom millwork, furnishings, and all of the details in between that can completely transform a space. My background combines formal design training with hands-on experience working alongside homeowners, builders, and trades from the first idea through the finishing touches.

Now based in Charleston, I’m excited to bring Bly Design into its next chapter and build new relationships throughout the Lowcountry. I’m endlessly inspired by beautiful interiors, travel, architecture, and the way a thoughtfully designed space can change how you experience everyday life. Above all, I’m passionate about creating spaces that feel personal, intentional, and just right for the people who live in them.
