Hi, I’m Heather – I am so glad you’re here!
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, I spent my college summers working in the restaurant industry at the Lake of the Ozarks and quickly fell in love with the area. As a first-generation high school and college graduate, I earned my professional degree in Interior Design from the Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design at the University of Arkansas in 2019. Woo Pig!

After graduation, I moved to the lake full-time and worked as an administrative assistant while taking on small design and decorating projects on the side. Just enough to keep my creative wheels turning! In 2022, I took the leap and launched Bly Design – and I haven’t looked back since!
What sets me apart? My formal training, a solid foundation in design, creative vision, and love of design. My genuine passion for making spaces feel just right fuels everything I do. I stay inspired by keeping up with current design trends, exploring new places, and diving into research. As a proud lake local, I’m passionate about bringing fresh, elevated style to the area. I can’t wait to help you create a space you’ll truly love to live in!
